Jasper is a 15.1h 8 yo quiet super sweet gelding that arrived here at Raintree Eq Center recently. We rode him the day he came in and he was a very good boy. Will be ridden by professional until sold. He would be suitable for hunters/jumpers/dressage/playdays/family horse/trail horse/or even lead in. This gelding is not to lazy and not to fast. He responds to a couple of bumps with your heel to trot. We are working on him picking up his canter quicker. This won’t take much time at all. He is giving more to the bit – lunges well, and needs someone that can pull and kick to ride him(in other words a nontimid beginner should be ok). Hes not hard to ride at all just no timid riders. If you are looking for a sweet life partner here he is! I want him to get a great home, He has already been through the plastic bag test, tap test, and rode over and around obstacles. Scarlet is a 12 or maybe 13 yo TB mare that is back to work after her owner moved and didn’t have time to ride her -so she had some time in the pasture for awhile till she came to us!. She is a very sweet mare – an intermediate rider with secure seat/leg and no timidness could ride her at this time since she is still green but very willing. She loads clips ties(does NOT crosstie) stands for farrier and vet. She has the stride and scope for the bigger fences. Scarlet is not scared of any fence . She would be a good dressage prospect as she is a pretty mover – she is getting better on the flat each day and after half an hour she always starts to round more on the bit. Just some sweaty earned flatwork and she will make you a fine show mare in little time with right rider. At this time we are concentrating on her forwardness then bring her collection down. We like to keep the “forwardness” in our horses for nice movement and lift. She will slow down at her canter in time- be more balanced and in-shape to withstand the collection easier.
